Sarah Saturday
Sarah Saturday is a musician, multimedia performance artist, and producer based in Nashville. A recipient of Nashville’s Metro Arts Thrive Grant and the Tennessee Arts Commission Individual Artist Fellowship, she is known for complex, vulnerable, visually stunning performances.
Since 2009, Saturday has released numerous albums, multimedia works, and experimental theatrical performances, and has performed over 200 shows across the U.S. and Canada. Her music has been featured in film, television, and commercials, including an original score for the feature film Superpowerless. After relocating to Nashville from Los Angeles in 2012, she began incorporating film, dance, and spoken word into her technology-driven, lighting-based performances.
Her more recent one-woman audio/visual performances include Absence of Me (2019), Voyage (2023), and a re-release of her 2009 “Light Wall” in 2025.
In late 2025, Saturday received the Thrive Grant from Nashville’s Metro Arts Commission to develop AFTERLIFE, an immersive, large-scale installation and performance piece co-created with longtime collaborator Dycee Wildman and nearly 20 Nashville artists. AFTERLIFE premiered in Nashville in June 2026, running three sold-out weekends. The soundtrack was released in August 2026, and the team hopes to remount the show for a longer run in 2027.
